I got my start in financial literacy when I severely damaged my own credit.
Yes, I did the same thing that most youth do when they're undereducated in finance, RAN MY CREDIT INTO THE DIRT. I thought my only hope was to file bankruptcy. I paid the lawyer to get everything started and then I began researching.
To make a long story short I didn't like what I saw when it came to life after bankruptcy. What I did find was the option for credit repair.
After repairing my own credit I was presented an opportunity to help others do the same. Seeing how much credit effected not only my life, but the lives of my children it was a no brainer!
